A modifed version of our standard left turn warning system that incorperates Left Turn Warning, Reverse Warning and in cab reminder message.
Function
- The system consists of 4 speakers, 1 in the cab, 2 on the left side of the vehicle, 1 at the rear.
- When the left hand indicator is switched on the in cab speaker says “CHECK NEARSIDE MIRROR” (only once, each time the indicator is pressed) and all 3 external speakers say “WARNING! THIS VEHICLE IS TURNING LEFT”.
- When reverse gear is selected all 3 external speakers say “WARNING! THIS VEHICLE IS REVERSING”
- If the hazard lights are on it overrides the Left turn message (ie muted).
- If reverse gear is selected while the hazard lights are on it will still play the reverse warning message.
- All speakers are fully waterproof to IP68 and are on quick change connectors for easy maintenance.The speaker messages are played at around 98db and the system can be supplied with a night silent facility.
- Messages can be customized as required (ie. different language or ‘this vehicle is turning right’ etc.>
