Our heavy duty 8 sensor parking system is specially built for use on HGV's unlike many systems which are aimed at cars and small vans.

The system features longer cables for use on rigid and articulated vehicles with flexible conduit kit to protect cabling in vulnerable areas. Supplied with Heavy Duty fully waterproof sensors which can be mounted in or special protective housings (4 included) enable sensors to be mounted to the rear of a trailer or tipper. Visual and audio signals give the operator and accurate front and rear proximity reading from obstacles helping to prevent collisions when maneuvering in confined areas, narrow lanes and tipping bays.

The in cab display is clearly backlit and measures only 70 x 32 x 15mm this is the only item that can be seen in the cab. It can also be neatly attached to the top of your reversing camera monitor for a clutter free installation.

Mode of operation

This high-quality PDC-System (Park Distance Control) enables secure and damage-free forward and reverse parking.
The system informs you of the corresponding distances by the LCD-Display and by an acoustical warning signal.
The LCD-Display shows distance and sensor information.
The acoustical warning signals are heard in 3 different sounds according to the distance. The signal sounds can be individually turned on and off.
The latest model disposes of an additional self-control function. Any damaged sensors will be identified by the system and will be shown on the display. No strenuous trouble-shooting is necessary.
All external cables have fully waterproof plug connections. If a sensor is damaged replacement is simply plug & play.

The system is supplied with 8 Heavy Duty sensors. The 4 front sensors are normally mounted directly through the front bumper or body work. The 4 rear sensor are supplied with an extra heavy duty mounting block which enables easy mounting to the rear of a trailer or tipper body.
